From the west end of the Cathedral the first three sections of the nave can be seen including six stained-glass windows built by Enrique Alemán between 1478 and 1483. They depict prophets and apostles.

The stained-glass windows
In the centre above the main entrance there is a large rose window by Vicente Menardo dating from 1557. It depicts The Four Evangelists. Above the side doors we find large stained-glass windows by the same artist dating from 1566 and 1568 and representing The annunciation and The Visitation.
